Thank you, all for your patience. You lot sure did cause us trouble. My judges were up in arms because you all worked so hard and some entries they struggled to pick between at all. Then my mentors were moaning because their mentees were all so awesome that they didn’t want to let any go home! This is a testament to your incredible talent and creativity. Please note, we slightly altered the criteria when we came to judging. Recording Quality was removed and creativity and song choice became two separate categories. This worked much better from a judging perspective. We also chose not to award penalty points as many of you are new to competitions. We will NOT be lenient on this in the future so please check everything carefully.
Sadly some of you must go home. You may stay in the main or quiet room if you would like, but you will need to leave your mentor room.
If you are in GREEN you won your battle! Well done!
If you are in ORANGE you lost your battle, but have immunity, you are still with us for round 2!
If you are in BLUE you lost your battle BUT have been SAVED by your mentor. Get cracking on your round 2 entry.
If you are in PURPLE you lost your battle BUT have been STOLEN by another mentor and will shortly receive an invite to their team room!
If you are in RED, unfortunately, you lost your battle and are going home. You fought well compadres! Keep an eye out for future ITM comps. You will have automatic entry as a previous contestant!
