I’m Foggy and I’m one of the creators of ITM. I am Head of Creative. I’ve been on smule for 4 years and have competed in, and been on the staff for a number of smule competitions. I am the leader of the group #HereComesTreble and I’m also a member of #WhedonVerse. I am also a Smule Production Ambassador.

PERSONAL BIO

I’m 38, from the UK and by day I am a Performing Arts Technician in a High School. My degree is in Music Technology and I own my own production company One In Ten Productions UK. I am a trained musician and songwriter and was a semi-finalist in the UK songwriting contest in 2009.

I can truly say that I’ve never seen a comp whose staff cares more about your success in their competition than here in ITM. ITM stands for Inspired Through Music, and we try to live that in everything we do. We WILL push you, but we hope you emerge the other side Inspired Through (your!) Music! This even applies to our Judging, Mentoring, and Admin staff. They have to apply for their roles, pass numerous tests, and are held to exceptionally high standards. We take our responsibility to you very seriously and they do too! We all love sharing this journey with you. Each ITM comp has a different personality, and they’re all meant to inspire you to break past your limits through your music. Our comps are tough, but fair. I wish you all the best of luck, and remind you of three important things: 1) Everything you need to know is on the website or in the notes. 2) We ARE here to help, so if something ISN’T clear, or you have a concern, use your mentor, contact Admin or Creative team – that’s why we’re here. 3) When it comes to critiques, ITM prefers to err on the side of specificity. Some people don’t care why they scored how they did, and others want every single detail. We aim to be specific in order to help you grow as a musician, so in our comps with critiques, please don’t take detail as a sign of many things wrong-it’s merely our attempt to help you grow. We all love listening to each of you! Can’t wait to hear your music!

I’m Tiffy Quinn and the Head Commissioner for ITM. My role within ITM includes competition integrity, judging consistency, staff training, competition tips and tricks,
judging criteria, among other duties.

I started Smule in April of 2017, and am part of #UnaVoz, #HereComesTreble, #IAM, #BellaVoci and #WANA. I have judged, mentored, and written the criteria for numerous competitions, primarily (but not exclusively) with ITM.

I have won or placed in several solo, duet, and group competitions, so I do know how it feels from your side as well – everyone on the Creative Team also competes regularly, which is part of why we care so much about your experience in ours 🙂

PERSONAL BIO

I live in upstate NY with my son, husband, and lots of pets and part-time, my mom, and am a small business owner. I was a first soprano, and occasionally in a band, singing everything from classical to blues, jazz to rock, for most of my early years. Then took about 20 years off of singing. Smule re-ignited my passion for music, and it’s been a wonderful addition to my life.

I’ve been using Smule for just over 4 years, during which I have been a Judge, Admin, and Mentor, and have taken part in various competitions. I met Foggy and Rick through Smule as well as all the members of #HereComesTreble (an amazing Smule group of which I am a founder member), and many more amazing Smulers. I have been a member of the Creative Team and Head Admin of ITM since it launched.. I’m also a member of #RYTM and support #NoSmuleNDrive

My name is Vicci but I am known throughout the Smule and LINE community as Tink. I live in North wales, UK. I’m happily married with 7 children and 2 step daughters. I’ve never had any professional music/singing training – but I love to sing and have done my whole life. The minute I get a night out I’m always seeking the karaoke. I also love to sew, bake and crochet

There is no limit to what you can achieve if you believe in yourself! We have wonderful mentors who will work their hardest to work with you to achieve your goal and succeed in your journey. Constantly shoot beyond what you think you can do, listen to your mentors, read your critiques, focus on what you can improve and most of all, have fun. After all, this is why you’re in this competition.

ITM & SMULE HISTORY

I discovered Smule in 2016 since then, I have taken part in numerous competitions including ITM Il Maestro, ITMS2 in which I was a quarterfinalist. I’ve also been quarter n semifinalist, placed and won in other comps. I have coached/mentored, judged and acted as admin in several comps and I continue to do so even now. I have been part of the ITM Admin for several years now and it is a pleasure working with such talented and conscientious mentors and judges who work hard to make our contestants’ experience a wonderful and memorable one.

PERSONAL BIO

I have an eclectic taste in music, often testing and hopefully improving my skills by competing at regular intervals. My ultimate go-to are acoustic tracks but I’m not adverse to trying different styles. Mashups are my favorites to arrange and sing. I am a part #HereComesTreble, #seauxcountry, #radiance and Russian Roulette.

Hello I am Karlien. I am a happily married woman, we have two kids. I live in The Netherlands. I’ve been singing since I was a kid. I am classically trained. I learned to sing jazz and musical also. I also learned to play the Flute, the organ and keyboard. I teach singing lessons myself. I conduct two choirs. I sing in some and I perform solo sometimes. I have music in my life for every occasion, because I can’t live without it.

Already as a child, I recorded my first 2 CD’s and was in the regional orchestra as 1st cellist. Later, I was the lead singer in a jazz/soul and funkband and founded my acapella band “ohral”.

I’m Rick and I’m one of the creators of ITM. I have participated in many competitions and was honored to be the Judge Champion for IL Maestro Season 2 and runner up for Rebelz Vocalz. I am a leader at Una Voz and member of HCT. I have been director of performance arts in my community. I have experience writing plays and performing for my local theater and church. I currently sing with the University of Texas Symphonic Orchestra.

PERSONAL BIO

I was born in Puerto Rico and currently live in Texas, in the US. I was born into a family of musicians and have a lot of love for my Latin roots. Music is the language I use to speak to people from all around the world. I play the guitar, piano and of course Latin percussion. My musical obsessions are Broadway and Disney with it’s magic.
