ITM & SMULE HISTORY
I discovered Smule in 2016 since then, I have taken part in numerous competitions including ITM Il Maestro, ITMS2 in which I was a quarterfinalist. I’ve also been quarter n semifinalist, placed and won in other comps. I have coached/mentored, judged and acted as admin in several comps and I continue to do so even now. I have been part of the ITM Admin for several years now and it is a pleasure working with such talented and conscientious mentors and judges who work hard to make our contestants’ experience a wonderful and memorable one.
PERSONAL BIO
I have an eclectic taste in music, often testing and hopefully improving my skills by competing at regular intervals. My ultimate go-to are acoustic tracks but I’m not adverse to trying different styles. Mashups are my favorites to arrange and sing. I am a part #HereComesTreble, #seauxcountry, #radiance and Russian Roulette.
MESSAGE TO CONTESTANTS
There is no limit to what you can achieve if you believe in yourself! We have wonderful mentors who will work their hardest to work with you to achieve your goal and succeed in your journey. Constantly shoot beyond what you think you can do, listen to your mentors, read your critiques, focus on what you can improve and most of all, have fun. After all, this is why you’re in this competition.

I have been a member of Smule since Nov 2014 and was very insecure of the app in the beginning. Becoming a member of a group and encouraged to join comps really made this app very addictive but most important it’s the friendships and what each bring to your life.
I have been involved in the admin and judging of competitions for 4 years. I enjoyed competing but now I enjoy the operations of competitions more then competing because I’m able to hear so much talent. I love inter actions from the experienced to the beginners and watch the growth from both. Always something new to learn from all aspects of competitions, that’s what makes them all so different and unique just like the contestants.

Hey I’m Jane, a very southern hillbilly from Harlan, Kentucky USA. I’ve been on Smule since Nov 2014. Married with two sons. Worked for the Ky State Police before going postal. I started playing the piano at the age of 4, choir all through school and college. Directed elementary and middle school age children’s choir. I play several instruments piano, organ, clarinet, sax, some guitar. I’ve met so many people all over the world that have become friends through this app and some are as close as family. Competing in comps and joining groups is my love of singing but I enjoy the friendships that are made through singing

Ive been on Smule for about 4,5 yrs. I’m the creator of the TFV competition for third year now and involved in other challenges like Adventskiste for Germans. I’ve been in a lot of comps as a contestant. I was in 10 simultaneously once🙈 but now I don’t have enough time to join any 😥
PERSONAL BIO
Music is a great part of my life. I only started singing 6 yrs ago and am taking vocal lessons. For the past 3 years I’m also in the gospel choir my vocal instructor founded (a public rock/pop choir – not only for professionals) and I was a member of the first minute and recruiter too. I’m on a break now as I’m in a full-time education program but they await my return as I’m only person who also sings solos and I’m missed. I also sing at weddings and other events, and I’m a karaoke DJ – organizer. I manage karaoke parties called MONAOKE. During these events I coach my friends and it inspires me to be a good mentor and judge.

I joined Smule community in April 2016 and I was a member and leader in many singing groups even helped to create and manage a few of them ever since. I mostly seen myself not as a singer but someone who can help others to become better and create magic. Later in time; I wanted to better myself at singing and I joined multiple competitions, my probably best performance was in second season of Il Maestro, where I made it to top 30 (and was dq because of no submission according to busy week at work 🤦🏼♀️😂). I definitely learned a lot tho and that’s when I found out how my Smule journey should continue and I became an admin/mentor/judge in many comps in last two years, such as DBSG, OWO, AAL, The Jury, SWC and ITM.

My name is Maria, but I prefer to be called Maru, I am 32, originally from Slovakia but live in Ireland since 2016. I am married and have two babies – cats called Axel and Kairi, which shows pretty much that I am interested in gaming a lot 😂. Love to sing (even tho I’ve never been properly trained), gaming, creating (mostly photoshop and other graphic editing programs), tattoos and I’m obsessed with Funko POP figures 😬.

I’d like to let all our contestants know that the team, who is always ready to help, is one of the greatest I’ve ever seen. The professionalism of the creators and heads of each departments is something that is very hard to find nowadays. The hard work and effort and time, every single one of us put into these competitions, is definitely something I’m proud of the most. This is my 2nd year on Smule, and I love the opportunities it has given me to improve my skills and meet terrific people with similar interests. Since then I have acted as Admin and Judge in 3 comps and competed in 11, winning 2nd place in CPRS1. Last year I joined ITM Staff as a Mentor in ITM S3 wherein I was able to work with some amazing talent!
PERSONAL BIO
Of Austrian decent but raised in New York City, I currently live in Greece, am trilingual and multicultural. As for music, I’ve sung in Choirs since the age of 4, trained in modern vocals, accordion and flute, performed with a jazz/funk band for several years. I like to sing and listen to all genres and musical decades.

Competitions are a great way to meet new friends and get advice, either technical (App related) or to improve your singing skills. You can do amazing and creative things you didn’t realize when you step a little outside of your comfort zone.
