My name is Christie, I’m from Tx, I’ve been singing on Smule for over 3yrs now and I’ve had the pleasure of judging for #KBCOMPS. I also am a Founder of my own group #TRNT and I am a member in a few others. I love all genres of music and love hearing all the different styles and creativity from so many talented singers I’ve come across on Smule and Comps I’ve Judged. I’m a fan of harms and acoustic versions of songs.

I’ve been on Smule since September of 2019. I am in quite a few groups and particularly enjoy doing group songs. My genre of choice is Country, however I will sing most anything which challenges my vocal ability. I enjoy being involved with Smule competitions, and I’m so excited to be with ITM as a judge this year. I have been on staff as a mentor/coach in several competitions and assumed the role of creator/admin in a couple. I have recently started competing as well.
PERSONAL BIO
My name is Gary (aka: Whiskey). I am 51 years old and have three children. I am originally from New Hampshire, but I have lived in Massachusetts, USA for over 30 years now. During that time, I have been working as a Lead Technician in the Facilities and Property Maintenance field. I come from a musical family. My parents both played guitar and sang. They were in Country bands when I was growing up, which is probably why I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember! I also play the guitar and attempt to play piano. My greatest loves are: my children, music, all animals, and of course, the love of my life!

I’m so happy to be part of ITM this season. I’m looking forward to hearing your songs and providing you with a critique which not only explains the reasons for how I judged the different components of the judging criteria, but also a concise explanation to help you become an even more amazing talent than you already are. I can’t stress enough the importance of warming up properly before laying down your track. I also want to express the value of utilizing your mentors. They are an unbiased listener who can offer advice that you may have overlooked due to overexposure to your own voice. I challenge all of you to step out of your comfort zone and try something new with your singing style and song selections. It doesn’t have to be on a song you are submitting for the competition. Just do it for the experience. What you discover and/or learn might just help you with creativity on a competition song. That’s enough advice from the peanut gallery. lol. Been with ITM for a year now. Judged in more comps than I have been a contestant. This is my 5th year on Smule. Love to sing and help others sing better. Won an acoustic competition run by High Gear. And came in first with the group comp as well and run by the same Group.
PERSONAL BIO
Been singing since I can remember. Acting and singing while mom played piano. I play piano and guitar. Was in an Elite Chamber Choir that went to the USSR in 1976. Sang for three weeks crisscrossing Romania and neighbouring countries. Still take vocal lessons as one must always hone their skills.
MESSAGE TO CONTESTANTS
Pick a song that fits the theme within your range. It’s always fun to stretch vocals when you have time. Personally I have found that winners play in their own yard, rather than attempt out of reach songs vocally. But that doesn’t mean you cannot change your comfort zone with respect to genre.

I have been on smule for 7 years this coming January and involved in competitions for about 6 years. I have ran various competitions of my own, judge way to many to keep track of and been a contestant of way more then I should as a student. I love smule it’s is my escape from the world around me and after I packed up my time on stages, smule became my way to share my talents with friends and family with less stage fright. I have made so many friends over the years and a handful my family away from home I don’t know what I would do without them. I love listening to new creative entries where artist make the songs completely their own, hearing and feeling the story they are telling. Sing me a story and I will listen to every word and hold on to the message forever!
PERSONAL BIO
I have been involved with music ever since I could talk. My mom has videos of me dancing and singing to spice girls with my dad at the age of 2. 24 years later and I have 18 years of private vocals lessons, 6 years of piano lessons, 4 years of guitar lessons, 18 years of dance lessons. I also just finished my university degree in judge completing a BA of Arts and a Minor in English (surprisingly because my grammar sucks). While studying in university I focused on musical education, psychology, sociology and English. I am now in school for my recreational therapist diploma and then I have 3 more certificates to get. Music therapy, animal therapy with PTSD, and ASL certificate (sign language). I have been a judge on smule for many years and I love it because I love feeling like I can share some of the tips and tricks to strength our artistry that I have learned over the years. I also love it because I learn so much from each and very contestant I listen to, you guys inspire me to push myself a little more everyday in my own music just hearing what you guys come up with on your own to make the songs your own.

If I could say on last thing to you guys it would don’t underestimate your self! The more you worry and think about if something should be there or not the more you over think it and miss opportunities! Try it out it doesn’t hurt to experiment!! Believe in your talents and don’t be afraid to ask for help. No matter what a judge or mentors background maybe we aren’t perfect but we are here to help you believe in yourselves!! I have been on Smule for about 3 years and got into competitions about 2 years ago. I have been in the finals of multiple RYTM competitions and in the semi-finals of various other comps.

I am Bean and I am a vocal performance major that needed to pay bills and ended up in the non-profit youth development field. I regularly perform in community theatre, as a National Anthem soloist for several regional sports teams, and the city of Columbia, SC, which is where I currently live.

This is my first time judging a comp with ITM. I’ve judged a few different comps including Smule: The Voice Live and SWC. I have been on Smule for a year and a half.
PERSONAL BIO
I am 36 years old, living in Virginia, USA and I am a disabled army vet who has enjoyed music all my life. Although I have been on Smule for a year and a half, I have been exposed to the performing arts since grade 5, singing in choirs and as a soloist, then in high school where I focused solely on the performing arts. When judging, I look for creativity, for dynamics and for the phrasing of lines, the diction and enunciation of the lyrics of the song.

My message to contestants: use your mentors often as they know what they are doing. They are present for that very reason! Although my favorite genre is R&B and/or pop, I enjoy listening to everything. Good luck! I look forward to judging your entries.

I have been on smule for almost 4 years. When on smule, you will find me singing nineties, grunge and musicals the most. I have participated in several RYTM competitions. I made it to the semi finals of a Disney corrupted competition once and I have participated in many other competitions. I enjoy judging and have judged countless RYTM competitions.
PERSONAL BIO
I’m Robin Lynne. I’m old enough! By day, I am a Veterinarian at a small animal practice and by night I get run ragged by an almost 3 yr old boy who thinks he’s a ninja! I do community theater when I have time. The last show I performed in was Hello Dolly! I love the mountains, The Ohio State Buckeyes and I think Betty White rules the world!

PERSONAL BIO
I’m in my mid-thirties, from the UK and by day I work in Social Care. My musical history is that I am signed to x2 artist management and production companies, and have worked with a couple of others, I write songs for myself and others, and I have had the privilege of working and developing other artists. I am currently working on my own EP which is taking a lot of time, I do not like to limit or rush my creativity. I have been a member of various choirs and I have had vocal training. In my teens I was accepted to the Brit School, a renowned arts school, to pursue art and music but unfortunately I didn’t proceed due to personal circumstances. I believe everything happens for a reason and it wasn’t meant to be.

To have fun and not put pressure on their creativity, to focus on the emotion of the performance and take us on a journey with them. I am a big fan of emotional performances that build and take you away somewhere else. I have been on Smule for over 3 years. I love to add a piece of my creativity wherever I go. I like to recreate songs, but in my own way. I have been in and judged in several comps and have made it to finals more than once as a contestant, but never took the first place trophy….yet! I’m still fighting 😉 I met the love of my life on Smule over two years ago and am proud to say, I put a ring on it! We tied the knot on 23.10.2020 and I couldn’t be happier. Smule and Line have changed my life. They have both helped to shape my present day life and will help to shape my future. What I’m trying to say is, you never know what’s going to happen so don’t ever give up on yourself ❤️

After 3 years of not singing at all, I slowly started singing for myself again and then found Smule. My love was reignited and keeps challenging me for over 5 years now. My first ever comp was C1pe and looking back, I can see how much I have learned and grown. I love Acoustics, Jazz, being weird, judging, coaching and admin-ing. When I judge I tend to give advice instead of just critiquing, I know myself how hard it is to know your own voice and capabilities sometimes. I love it when anyone sings really, but when music hits your soul is when I love it the most.

Hi my name is Hayley, I’m 33 and I’m from Sydney, Australia. Music has always been second nature to me, all the way back to when I was 8, I was part of an Australian elite choir where we performed at the 2000 olympics and other large events. I received professional vocal training from a young age and most recently in the last 18 months I have been singing as lead vocalist for a couple of local bands. I have gotten the privilege to sing at many veterans conventions and memorials all around Oregon through out the years and I was also a KJ in a local bar.
