JUDGE 1 Your voice is amazing, the soft tone and soft vibrato are one of the best and perfect I have ever heard. I felt calm and relaxed when I listened to this performance and that is the exact feeling I want to have when I listen to this song. Good job.

JUDGE 2 I love it and I love your soft yet powerful voice. You really made me feel like I was sat in a smokey Jazz Bar sipping on my Gin and Tonic whilst listening to your song. I have no critique, Great Job.

JUDGE 1 Wow! I felt the emotion from you in this song, your voice is beautiful and the soft harmonies were lovely. Only a few flat notes but nothing major. Overall I really enjoyed listening. Well done!

JUDGE 2 I love your soft voice. From 2.47-3.12 the pitch is a little bit flat with the harmony vocal, but it didn’t distract from your performance. I felt the performance lacked energy, however, you sang it beautifully. Great performance. Thank you!

JUDGE 1 This was the perfect song for you! You have stunned us from day 1 with your beautiful voice and in particular your harmonies during this round. Your scatting added to your personality throughout this song. You have incredible potential and an incredible range. You have beyond impressed me! Thank you for participating in this competition and I hope you’ve enjoyed yourself. Congratulations!

JUDGE 2 This was an awesome entry. I love the sound of your voice. Amazing harmonies and a really enjoyable jazzy sound. You made it very personal and gave it your own character! I heard some tiny pitching and timing issues in the harming parts. But overall a great entry!

JUDGE 1 Fantastic entry. I don’t have much to criticize or suggest here. You did a great job with your background vocals and the arrangement you made. Harmonies are very well done. I also loved your *filling* at the musical break. Maybe use another FX and/or a softer voice for backing vocals? At the end, you fell a bit off tone but that’s not major. Loved your song!

JUDGE 2 Your energy is wonderful! well done! Your backing vocals are amazing and I love the way you put your personality into this song. The musical break part you did is really good. Try to balance your volumes better, the backing vocals should be quieter than your lead vocal, Overall awesome performance!

JUDGE 1 You have a beautiful voice and choose a good version of this song to showcase your range and dynamics. You sang in a Different key to the piano melody on the backing track, making this song your own – which worked really well – only minor critique with doing this is the odd last word fell a little flat and was a harsh contrast to the piano, but this wasn’t too bad to distract from the overall performance. Your harmonies did fall a little flat at 2.38 but again this wasn’t enough to distract from your performance. Be careful with your mic – there were a few occasions when a slight interference could be heard. Your emotion and energy were strong throughout the performance – making it very enjoyable to listen to.Overall this was a solid performance well done.

JUDGE 2 You did a great job making this song your own! Great job using dynamics in your voice, and I really enjoyed your adlibs! My main critique of this entry was the recording quality. You had quite a number of times that it sounded like you touched the microphone. I heard this at 2:03, 2:13, 2:19, 2:21, 2:25, 3:23, and 3:56. Other than this, I felt like your entry could have used a bit more emotion. But, I still really enjoyed this, and I’m a huge fan of yours!

JUDGE 1 Your voice is lovely and suits this song so well, a great choice for the round brief, however, I did feel that this song didn’t give you many opportunities to show us any dynamics. Your timing was impeccable up until 1.52 – your harmony was slightly off with your main melody. There was the odd flat harm, but your main vocal was strong so this didn’t distract from your overall performance. Overall a good performance well done.

JUDGE 2 Your voice and the tone of your voice is very beautiful! It’s very easy and enjoyable to listen to. I did notice a couple of pitch errors in your entry: at 37 seconds your harmony layer on the word “along” goes slight flat. This was very minor. At 1:29-1:30, during the upper ad-lib, you are flat. Lastly, during the final word of the song, your lower harmony is sharp, and at the beginning of that word, the lead vocal starts out slightly flat. I also heard one time at 1:54-1:55 where your timing between layers was a bit off. I felt that although you added some emotion and character to this song, you could push yourself to do more. I would have liked for you to maybe add some additional ad-libs and also use the dynamics of your voice more. Still, this song definitely put me in the Christmas mood, and I think your voice suited it very well! Nice job!

JUDGE 1 You sounded just lovely! Good job with your volume balance between the backing track, main vocals, and secondary vocals. Some of your enunciations are not super clear but did not detract from the wonderful performance. This was very melodic and I really enjoyed your rendition! Beautiful job!

JUDGE 2 What a lovely version of this song! Almost perfection” There were some minor diction issues with enunciations of the words so be careful with that. Overall a beautiful entry – well done!

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=”1_2″][et_pb_code _builder_version=”3.0.105″]<iframe frameborder=”0″ width=”300″ height=”300″ src=”https://www.smule.com/recording/demi-lovato-let-it-go/313895328_2128126698/frame/box”></iframe>[/et_pb_code][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.0.105″ background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”justified”]

JUDGE 1 You have a beautiful vibrato!!! The room size/reverb is just a bit too high for my taste. You did unison singing for part of the chorus but I wish you had done harms instead, especially since 20 seconds of harms are required. It would’ve injected additional interest to the performance. Be careful about your mic placement, for some of your louder notes, there is heavy mic distortion so pull the mic away when you are hitting some of the more powerful notes. This really affects your recording quality/clarity and detracted from your awesome performance. Your emotions and energy level is great! I like that you changed up parts of the melody to really put your own stamp on it. Lovely entry!

JUDGE 2 Such a beautifully sung song. You have such a wonderful voice and this song was definitely suited to your voice. Only thing I did hear is that the reverb was slightly too high so it sounded too “echoy” and there were some slight distortions of your voice which can all be easily fixed. A brilliant performance regardless – well done!
